Lolita on a Budget??

One of the biggest problems I have run into as a Lolita is a budget. So one of the biggest pieces of advice I have to give, YOU DON'T NEED A WIG!
You really don't, you don't even need to style your hair, just make it cute! Bows! Clips! Just make your hair match what you are wearing, you do not need a wig.
Another thing, if you want to slowly drift into Lolita, go ahead. I didn't start that way, but I seriously believe now that I should have, but remember as you walk through stores in your first dress and wig, completely decked out with bows, you will hardly ever see those people again, and you will hardly ever run into someone who will state their discomfort with it. The first time I walked into a Walmart with my newest dress and socks I got three compliments on my hair, two of which were from guys wearing all black and/or video game shirts--the things I used to wear minus flannel--and that goes to show that not everyone staring at you is thinking about how "absurd" you look, but how adorably precious you look. You go, my babes, I believe in you.
Step three!! Second hand shops can look like first hand. Bargains can be found even at your everyday local thrift store. I actually found the cutest jacket at one today--white with a hoodie and its sooo cute, but back on track. Wear second hand without looking like you're wearing second hand, here's a great post about things like it on FYeahLolita--again, I love her and highly suggest her!!
And that's all I really have for now. Love all of you guys! Hugs and keeses xoxo
